Having looked at the iPhone 3G first the most noticeable thing about the iPhone 3GS is it looks exactly the same, the only difference being the fingerprint resistant glossy screen. We have to admit though, if we didn't have a iPhone 3G to put next to it we may not have noticed that at all.
Once you power it on and it starts to boot you immediately see the difference between the two. The iphone 3GS is built for speed and in that respect it out performs its predecessor by no small margin.
The Apps onboard are almost the same as the 3G but much faster, the best upgrade we could find was the Camera, the increase to a 3.15 Megapixel unit brings a whole new quality and with the ability to record Video at 30fps it is a definate improvement.
All in all it is worth the extra money being asked although from just a casual glance you would wonder why.
