Overview
Crucial's BLT3KIT4G3D1337DT1TX0 is a 12GB Kit consisting of 3 x 4GB modules configured in Triple Channel mode.  These are a much lower latency option than the mainstream Crucial DDR3 memory and come with enhanced heatsinks to assist in cooling.  They are highly compatible with both AMD and Intel systems but as this is the largest kit, care should be taken to make sure your motherboard will support 12GB of DDR3 RAM and also 4GB per memory slot.

Our Review
If you are worried about compatability then Crucial memory is definately worth a look, to help make sure they offer a tool on their website that can scan your PC and tell you which memory it will run. Very useful if you are looking to upgrade your existing machine. We were lucky enough to get our hands on a 12GB Triple Channel Kit and spent more than a day trying to get a motherboard for our trusty Phenom II that had 3 memory channels. We finally got one and promptly ignored the test software for a game of MW3. All we can really say is WOW! and WOW! some more. We had previously looked at a Dominator Dual Channel Kit but this Crucial set was an improvement of those. We can't rate these highly enough, and some might say it was Dual against Triple Channel, 8GB against 12GB but we are not so sure.

Other Reviews
Craig SI cannot agree with the electrobyt review here, from experience I think the Dominators are better, but these Crucial Ballistix are extremely good. I don't think they look as good as the Corsair but I wouldn't say no to either.
Carl ClarkeI have the 2 x 4GB Kit myself on an Intel i5 setup and can say they are astounding, as with all memory I have had from Crucial, plug in, boot, working fine.
