Intel Lowers First Quarter 2015 Revenue Outlook By Almost 1 Billion Dollars

14th March 2015
Intel have announced a revision of its First Quarter Revenue Outlook, lowering it by almost $1 billion from $13.7 billion to $12.8 billion.

Weakening Euro
The company blames a lower than expected number of small and medium sized businesses upgrading after Microsoft announced that support for Windows XP would end in 2014. This is coupled with the problems in the Euro Zone at the moment seeing the Euro over 33% weaker than its historical best against the US Dollar.

All other expectations have been withdrawn and will be updated when Intel release their first quarter earnings report on April 14.
