21st February 2014
Dell have announced that its Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), Dell Boomi was invited to participate in the first Forrester Wave for Hybrid Integration Evaluation and was name as Leader in three of the four categories.

The Forrester Wave is based on vendor surveys, product demos and customer reference calls and judges each application against set criteria. The four evaluation categories are.
  • Wide integration
  • Deep integration
  • Cloud integration
  • Internet-of-Things integration
Dell's Boomi Service was named as leader in all but the last category.

According to Forrester, “The challenge of cloud-computing-related integration scenarios and the heterogeneous nature of on-premises integration tools are not two separate problems. They are closely related and connected to each other and the changing application landscape.”
