OCZ Next Generation Intrepid 3000 and Vector 150 SSDs on show at CES 2014

9th January 2014
OCZ are currently showcasing their latest Enterprise and Consumer SSD drives at this years International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Intrepid 3000 Series
Their latest Enterprise solution, the Intrepid 3000 Series is currently on display. These drives are the fastest and largest capacity SATA III SSDs that OCZ have released to date and they feature advanced flash management and increased endurance capabilities. This extends drive lifetime when compared to previous generations and also delivers up to five times faster sustained read and write speeds.

Vector 150
OCZ latest addition to their consumer range of SSDs which was released late last year is the Vector 150 Series. We hosted the full specifications for these here.

100,000 IOPS
The 480GB drive was the first we had seen in the consumer class to reach a random read 4k of 100,000 IOPS. This range uses OCZ's own Barefoot 3 controller which OCZ say was designed from the ground up for their drives. The Vector 150 series dramatically accelerates gaming, content creation and multimedia applications, and has a much higher endurance than previous generations able to do up to 50GB of host writes per day for 5 years.
