Apple App Store Revenue Tops $10 Billion in 2013

Apple has announced that its revenue from customers spending in its App Store was over $10 Billion for 2013 with over $1 billion being spent in December alone. Apple claims that its developers have now earned over $15 billion since its inception.

Since the introduction of Apple's iOS 7 App, designers have been able to produce far more detailed Apps which has enabled a more friendly user experience which in turn has increased sales. There are now more than one million Apps for use on Apples iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.
